Mission

Building resilience towards climate change

Vision

Spreading adaptation knowledge

The planet is currently confronted with a significant crisis characterized by climate change, the loss of biodiversity, and the pollution of air, water, and soil. This situation has profound implications for the lives, health and dignity of individuals.

Annually, pollution accounts for approximately 9 million premature fatalities globally. In 2019 alone, air pollution was linked to 6.7 million deaths, while water pollution contributed to 1.4 million premature deaths, and lead exposure was responsible for 900,000 premature fatalities. Hundreds of millions are afflicted by various diseases, and billions are at risk from the impending dangers posed by climate change, which is evident in the increasing frequency and severity of storms, droughts, wildfires, and rising sea levels.

Our Core Values

What Our People Say

5/5
We have a responsibility to protect the earth for future generations, but we cannot do it alone. Green Rights Organisation ensure that our voices are heard, that we are given the right to protect our sacred lands, and that the world recognizes the importance of preserving our ecosystems

Green Rights Organisation offer individuals the legal tools to protect their environments from harmful exploitation. Across the globe, people who live in areas suffering from environmental degradation, like industrial pollution or deforestation, should not have to fight alone. These rights guarantee that they have the legal standing to seek justice, whether it’s against companies that pollute or governments that fail to enforce environmental laws.

The fight for climate justice is inseparable from the fight for human rights. The impacts of climate change are not felt equally vulnerable communities, who contribute the least to global emissions, suffer the most. Green Rights organisation, such as the right to a healthy environment and the right to hold polluters accountable, are essential in addressing these inequalities.

Environmental rights are not just a legal issue—they are a matter of survival for many species on this planet. As a conservation biologist, I see every day how deforestation, pollution, and climate change are pushing species to extinction. Green Rights Oganisation ensure that the ecosystems we rely on for food, water, and air are protected.

Protect the planet by promoting environmental rights

Environmental rights are the legal and human rights that empower individuals and communities to advocate for a sustainable and healthy environment. These rights are essential for addressing climate change, pollution, deforestation, and biodiversity loss.
